2009 WSC qualification   Skriv ut 

Five Swedish tournaments have yielded qualification points for 2009 World Scrabble Championship: Beverly Hills Cup 2007, Eyes Open 2008, Beverly Hills Cup 2008, Butter Cup 2009 and the Swedish Championship 2009.

Participants in tournaments (with at least six players) get WSC qualifying points according to their standings. The last placed player gets 1 point, the last but one 2 points and so on. The three best participants also get bonus qualifying points: the best one 8, the second best 4, and the third best 2 points. These bonus points are doubled, however, in the Swedish Championship in English Scrabble, which is arranged every odd year.
